So its soccer world cup time. The only time that I am ever really interested in the sport... Except this year. This year I have had zero interest in it and I'm not sure why. 

I had all these plans to do all these things like going to fan parks, going to post-match parties, everything that had anything to do with the World Cup, I was going to be there.

The first day I went to Soweto and spent the first half at the Thokoza Park Fan Park. Took some photos but I still wasn't into the match... During half time we went to a shebeen where the electricity had gone off down the whole street. I still wasn't into it. Even when Bafana Bafana scored I was unaffected. 

Then I just didnt watch any more games and had no interest in it the whole weekend that followed.

So in order to get me interested, a friend of mine gave me his ticket to a match, Slovakia and New Zealand (I didnt even know either one of them played SMH), in Rustenburg at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium... I still didnt get into it.

The day after that I watched Brazil vs Korea DPR. Loved that game...

Soccer fever slowly came into my life again.
